History

What is known about the Celtic saints from written history is sketchy as they lived over 1500 years ago. However, there is much hagiography – a mixture of legend, myth, and history still around. Stories about the saints abound and would have been passed down word of mouth over the years. Here we explore some of the saints in relation to the places where they lived and ministered, exhibiting extraordinary lives of faith exhibited through miracles, signs, and wonders.
