Looe Island, a place of myth and legend. Did Jesus come here with Joseph of Arimathea? The legend says he did. An ancient Celtic chapel site is on the central high ground of the tiny island. A typical edge of the world place with a vast expanse of open sea but also a very peace spot on a sunny day. No doubt very different in a winter’s gale!
