St Michael's Mount in Cornwall is steeped in legends and myths but one in particular refers to Angel Michael appearing to fishermen in Mount's Bay and telling them to establish a praying community on the Mount. Celtic Christians are known to have lived here including St Keyne, one of King Brychan's daughters. It is a highly spiritual place, a 'thin' place and one with significance for Christians.
