Fidden Cove has a special place in my heart as a 'thin place' and to be there with the sunrise, in the stillness of a new dawn is very special. I encounter God here as I linger, looking across to Iona. Perhaps the Celtic monks prayed here whilst waiting to go across to the island. What I do know is that it is easy to pray, to stop and to experience God in this place.
