Fidden feels a very 'thin place' to me. I can linger there for hours looking across the sea to Iona and praying. It's easy to pray here and the hush settles deeply inside. Beautiful, quiet, remote and gentle. The tide sweeps in removing the seals from their perches, the hares bound across the grassy tufts, it's a place where time moves slowly and heart issues can be dealt with.
