St Helen's is a remote island in the Isles of Scilly which can be visited by boat although now uninhabited. St Elidius established a praying community here and the prayer oratory ruins can still be seen as well as evidence of a medieval church and houses which built up on the site. It is a 'thin place' where I've encountered God.
