St Sampson's Church on the hill above Golant, Cornwall, is sited on the ancient prayer compound founded by St Samson. It is a beautiful location looking down on the tidal River Fowey. Peaceful, set apart and holy, the church is still a very 'thin' place where it is easy to meet with God.

The hush and holiness permeate the building and there is a deep rest and peace to be found there. It is a favourite of mine to visit and pray, a place where I find worship easy and often God meets me in extraordinary way. I encourage you to visit.
