The site of an ancient Celtic prayer community Cadix is hidden down a tiny creek of the River Fowey. Today nothing remains of the Celtic presence except a beautiful hush down at the water's edge and a sense that God is near. The creek is accessible via a public footpath but it crosses private grounds and can feel like you're trespassing, even though it is a public right of way. Alternatively it can be approached by boat. It is a hidden and lovely place to pray.
