This replica crannog is on Llangors Lake in Wales. An ancient crannog exists as an island on the lake and is thought to be 9th century. It was used as a defensive position for the Kings of Brecknockshire and where they held court at times, being near to their main centre in Talgarth and on the surrounding mountains. It is the only one in Wales and England.
