Lindisfarne, or Holy Island in Northumberland, is still a place of pilgrimage for Christians who recognise the 'thin' place in the Spirit realm and the heritage established by Cuthbert and other saints. There is still a living Christian community on the island and a beautiful presence of God for those who seek Him there.
