On Lindisfarne you will find this plaque fixed to a rock. It was placed there by the Evangelical Sisters of Mary, a community of Christians founded by Basilea Schlink in Germany. With a ministry particularly of prayer and reconciliation, they place scripture plaques in places of beauty to remind people that God is alive.
