Cardinham Church, Cornwall
This ancient Celtic cross is from the 800AD. It stands in the churchyard of Cardinham church in Cornwall. This was the site of an ancient prayer oratory probably from the 400AD. Three Christians are associated with the hermitage, St Meubred, who was martyred in Rome and buried here, St Wyllow and St Manchus. Little is known about them but there is a legacy of a ‘thin place’ here which has continued down through the centuries.
I find it easy to pray in this place and God has given me significant personal revelations whilst here.
