Rezare Holy Well, Cornwall, UK

 Rezare is a tiny hamlet in Cornwall south of Launceston. The holy well is easy to locate as it is situated on the village green by Hope Farm and has a small enclosure. 

There are steps down to a standing place by the door to the well house, which is unfortunately closed but there is water in the well and the spring is clearly still there.

 I immediately saw several butterflies flitting around the enclosure landing on the valerian which was in flower. We had just come from North Tamerton where a butterfly had emerged from the well as we started to pray. Just like the name of the farm, these little things bring hope, hope that God is watching and cares deeply. It was a little hard to pray as the well's owner was talking with my husband but nevertheless I sensed this had been a place of gathering and evangelism around the well, which had supplied the hamlet with water. There is a delightfully gentle and slow pace to the setting and I sensed the water had been used for bathing sores and healing. I see someone in a vision looking after the sick people who came with tenderness and kindness. I prayed quietly here.
