Howell Harris

Howell Harris who lived in the 18th Century in Wales, is credited with being the founder of Welsh Methodism. He had encounters with the Holy Spirit which changed his life profoundly. He established a living community of faith at Trefecca, a village near Brecon and was friendly with both John Wesley and George Whitfield. Such was his influence that when he died, it's estimated 20,000 people came to his funeral!
