Llangorse Lake in Wales, and the hamlet of Llangasty on its shores is associated with St Gastyn who mentored all of the Christian King Brychan's children in the Christian faith, before they set off as missionaries. It is also where Howell Harris, founder of Welsh Methodism radically encountered the Holy Spirit which led him to found a Christian community at Trefecca. Llangorse is situated at the base of the Black Mountains and is a beautiful location, a 'thin' place and one where an ancient Celtic well has re-opened in the Spirit realm previously.
