Piran, a Celtic Irish saint, known as Cieran in Ireland, came to Cornwall and established Christianity here. He is the patron saint of Cornwall and still revered here. A remarkable man of faith, who shared about Jesus wherever he went, establishing communities and evangelising with miracles, signs and wonders.
