Bodmin Moor is a high and exposed area of moorland in Cornwall. Often shrouded in mist, or mizzle, it is hauntingly atmosphere and beautiful. Many Celtic monks traversed the moor, some living at Bodmin in the monastic community there. Celtic crosses dot across the moor, suggesting way-markers or gathering places.
